How can I contact webmaster?

You can send an email to rac /at/ sequentiabiotech /dot/ com.

I want to optimize a sequence with my own codon usage table, how can I proceed?

By now, this option is not available on CUbe website.

I just sequenced a new micro-organism, does my genome can be added to CUbe database?

Thank you for your interest in CUbe database, you can contact us via contact button on the home page. Note that integration of a new genome in the database will need CDS file.

Where the data presented in CUbe come from?

Data presented in this database mainly come from NCBI, Ensembl, JGI. The genome of Chlorella vulgaris is a kind gift of Matteo Ballottari and Michela Cecchin.

How can I be informed of new genomes or functions available in CUbe?

A mailing list is available, please subscribe on the home page. (Add information concerning private data utilization, see https://www.varonis.com/blog/data-privacy/)

Using optimization tool, how can I save results?

Results of your analyses are downloadable and stored for one month on the website.

What do the BUSCO data correspond to?

The BUSCO genes are a group of Eukaryotic core genes which are virtually present in all organisms. In our database BUSCO analysis was used to ensure good quality of our codon usage table analysis. Please find more information on BUSCO following this link DOI: 10.1007/978-1-4939-9173-0_14

What the Codon Pair Bias refer to?

Codon Pair Bias refer to frequency of apparition of a couple a codon in a coding sequence. Please find more information in this article : doi: 10.1016/j.molcel.2015.05.035. (review).

Can I use the optimization tool to get the less optimize sequence?

This function is going to be implemented soon.

Can I optimize a sequence taking into account the Codon Pair Bias analysis?

This function is going to be implemented soon.

My species of interest is not available on CUbe.

All publicly available and annotated genomes from photosynthetic micro-organisms were added to the CUbe database. Please contact us if you would like to include your genome of interest.
